The rumour mill is still going full blast about Sony’s recent #playstationmeeting2013 and an apparent release for the playstation 4. We’re just getting more figures and stats about the upcoming model from Japanese publications, and this time they are putting their hand on their hearts that they are real.
Speculation is that the new model will be launched at 40’000 YEN (£270.00) which is 10’000 YEN less than when the PS3 got launched. This price is rough indication and doesn’t include any taxes as such, however the fact that its cheaper is a good mark for the future. Other rumours include the fact that the controller for the PS4 will have touch capabilities. We just hope that these ‘capabilities’ aren’t replacements for R1, R2, L1 and L2 buttons, or in fact any button for that matter. With advancements in the new WiiU and Microsoft’s upcoming xBox 720, Sony will need to do their best in order to distance themselves from the pack.
