The Blackberry Z10 seems by many to be the manufacturer’s last hoorah, with plummeting sales off the back of last years services outages they are trying their best to affirm their name once more. The Z10 appears to be doing away with the risk of trying a new direction or revolutionary design and instead falls conveniently next to its competition; namely the Samsung Galaxy series and the Apple iPhone. Lets hope that the Blackberry Z10 can be the saving grace for RIM and keep their financials in the black!
Specification is listed at including an 8 MP camera, running a Dual Core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm processor with 16GB internal memory. Thanks to Blackberry for including MicroSD slot. While these don’t seem very new (where’s the quad processor, 10mp+ camera) they have at least made the unit 4G enabled together with Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. The display is a 4.2″ 1280 x 768 pixel with 4 touch capability.
The usual Blackberry software is bundled including Blackberry Hub, Keyboard, BBM Video, Shift mode and Story Maker. Also making an appearance is Blackberry Maps.
The handset will be available in both black and white. The black unit pictured by our guy shows a smart ‘Carbon Fibre’ effect backing print with the Blackberry logo taking focus in a shiny silver. The 8MP rear camera also comes with a torch flash to the right of it. We all look forward to the user experiences of the Blackberry Z10, why not submit your thoughts to us!
Many thanks to our guy Stuart J for the submit!
